Beehive to save elephants

Elephants are under deadly threat in Kenya but, when you buy a virtual gift of a beehive - either for yourself or someone else - you'll help a farmer protect his crops AND save elephants from injury and death. As people and elephants compete for space, elephants can raid crops, wiping out a poor farmer's only source of food and income, and leading to deadly retaliations.

But, elephants are afraid of bees, so your virtual gift of a beehive will help stop conflict and provide another source of revenue from honey. Each farm needs 12 beehives to create a fence to protect crops and save elephants!
